Internships

DESIGN IN THE HEART OF EUROPE

At Achilles Design you won’t be busy drawing pretty pictures all day long. You will be solving problems and creating unique user experiences with a multidisciplinary team of designers. This means each day you will be doing something different in order to find the right solution for the right problem. This could entail doing online research, brainstorming, sketching, creating a kick ass presentation, 3D modelling or mocking up a brilliant idea.
We are looking for team spirited thinkers and curious questioners. If you are constantly asking “why?”, then you may fit right in here. To create the best user experiences, you need to really break apart the problems at hand. To do this you will need to get your hands dirty, both physically and metaphorically. You will need to be a team player and bring some new insight and passion to the table. So don’t be afraid to speak up.

You are

Inquisitive
You don’t take things for granted.

Technically minded
Not only concerned with making it pretty but also making it work.

Passionate
You feel a need to make things better in all ways.

A team player

You work well with others.

Venturous
When needed, you can lead and get things done alone.

Skills

Confident in 3D modelling (preferably SolidWorks or Creo)
Able to work in Adobe Design applications
Familiar with wire framing, lo-fi and hi-fi mock ups and general programming (nice to have)

Compensation

When you arrive you will be assigned a mentor. He or she will guide you through your first days at Achilles Design and will be your go to person whenever you need help. As your internship progresses you will be coached on how working in a design office really is. Your work will be challenging but will allow you to grow. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any financial compensation.
